Most cats get distressed going to the vets, so the thought of having to put your much loved cat into a Cattery when you're away isn't a pleasant one. I offer visits to your home to care for your cats in their comfort of their own comfortable environment.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I am a massive cat lover, just ask my family and friends. I am a mature lady and I have always had cats throughout my life!!!

I have over the years looked after many cats while family members and friends have gone on their holidays, so I have good experience and knowledge.I currently have cats of my own, Bailey & Sandy . Prior to them I had Spot and Whisky who both lived to over 22 years old. When I was a child/teenager I had Pebbles and Snowy. I know how it feels to be going away , and making sure my cats are looked after just as I do myself . So rest assured your feline friends will be very well looked after, with lots of cuddles, to make sure they are not missing you, as much as I know you will be missing them. I am police checked and references are available.

Are you going away soon, and need someone to take care of your furry friends while you're gone ? When you go away on vacation you can hire me to look after your house & furry friends

& other small pets like rabbits, tortoises, guinea pigs, fish etc

DROP-INS - Prices for one daily visit from £17.50 , two daily visits £35 , three daily visits can also be arranged if needed. (Double rates on Bank Holidays)

For those times when you’re out and about in the evenings and weekends and worried about your pets, I can drop in to check on them. I will feed and water them, and just hang out with them so they have some company. I will love it just as much as they will!

MEDICATION

Administering various medications etc, extra charge of £6.50 per day

For more than 3 cats & additional other pets , extra charge of £6.50 per day charge per day

HOME BOARDING - Boarding in my own home is also available for one small mature dog at a time for £65 per night/day. (includes a walk)

HOUSE VISITS ( No Pets) Watering Plants etc

For anyone who is going away, has no pets, but is looking for someone they can trust to look after their home, I am an experienced and respectful house sitter. When you're on holiday you can relax with peace of mind that your home is being well looked after. House sitters give your home the appearance of being lived in and ensure that the property is occupied. We can move your post from the letter box/doorstep etc , water your plants , we can check your home for break-ins, roof leaks, plumbing, and other issues which may arise while you are away.

Terms of payment :£25 deposit required for up to 4 days , £50 for 5 days plus is due at time of booking. Balance due within 5 days after last visit.

How to keep a dog cool and prevent heatstroke

Make sure your dog has access to clean water at all times, ideally a large bowl filled to the brim.
Carry water and a bowl with you on walks.
On hot days, walk your dog during the cooler parts of the day, in the early morning and late evening.
Dogs’ paw pads can burn on hot pavements. As a general rule, if it’s too hot for your hand it’s too hot for their paws.
Watch your pet for signs of over-heating, including heavy panting and loss of energy. If you recognise these signs when on a walk, stop, find a shady spot and give your dog water.
Never leave your dog (or any pet) alone in a car on hot days , even with the windows open.
Make cooling tasty treats by making ice cubes with your dog’s favourite food inside, or give them doggy icecream.
Be particularly careful with short nosed dogs such as bull breeds, boxers, pugs, older dogs, and those that are overweight. These dogs can get heatstroke simply by running around
